On Tuesday, March 8th, BDP Founder & CEO Tish Hevel moderated a Congressional briefing to share the importance of brain donation.
We also announced the first National Brain Donation Awareness Day — May 7th — to raise awareness of the need for brain tissue to ensure that neuroscientists have what they need to cure brain disease.
We were thrilled and grateful to be joined by Dr. Walter Koroshetz, Director of the National Institute of Neurologic Disorder and Stroke (NINDS), and Dr. John Ngai, Director of the NIH’s BRAIN Initiative.
