Supporting Science from our Soapbox
Since supporting brain science is the center of what we do, The Brain Donor Project was thrilled to provide opening remarks at a briefing of the United States Senate recently. The occasion was the annual report of the B.R.A.I.N. (Brain Research through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies) Initiative. You might recall when the public-private effort launched during former President Obama’s second term to develop new tools to map brain circuits. The researchers who’ve driven many of the advancements explained the revolutionary science underway. Big thanks to the American Brain Coalition for hosting the event. You can watch the entire briefing here (Brain Donor Project CEO Tish Hevel begins her remarks at about 4:00).
